My name is Ford Daniels, partner at the law firm of Knight & Payne, and my latest case has me wading through the finer points of peckers—woodpeckers that is. Specifically, the red-cockaded woodpecker. I swear, I can’t make this stuff up but that’s what the sexy-as-hell blonde chained to a tree told me this morning.
Her name is Viveka Jones and she is so much more than a pretty face. She’s got wit, charm, and razor-sharp smarts. Turns out my client is looking to bulldoze the red-cockaded woodpecker’s natural habitat in favor of a multimillion-dollar subdivision and the sexy attorney with legs for days (and days), just happens to be counsel for an animal rights group looking to put a halt to construction.

My client’s pissed, but all I can think about is getting Viveka across the table from me. And then on the table underneath me. Perhaps up against the wall. And then—

Well, let’s just say when it’s all said and done, I’m hoping the red-cockaded woodpecker isn’t the only pecker that gets some attention from Miss Viveka Jones.

Sawyer Bennett has finally brought us back to the law firm of Knight & Payne with Pecker Briefs. Sawyer's legal romances are some of the absolute best out there because they're so... legal. You can tell that she used to be a lawyer, because her expertise in this field shines brightly and lends a sense of realism to the story that other books set in law firms just don't have. 

We were introduced to Knight & Payne two-and-a-half years ago when we met Leary Michaels and Reeve Holloway and watched them fall in love as they stood on opposite sides in a heated court case. Pecker Briefs is similar in that Viveka Jones and Ford Daniels are arguing opposite sides of an animal rights case about woodpeckers. We met Ford in Friction as he was Leary's on-again off-again friend with benefits. Nowadays, since Leary and Reeve are married and expecting a baby, Ford is just the BFF - no benefits. 

But, the moment he meets Viv, he feels the instant connection and knows her presence in his case is going to be problematic. Viveka too feels what's between them, and although she tries to fight it for the good of her case, she knows that giving in is inevitable. 

You would think that Viv and Ford's relationship would be the big drama point of the story, but it's really not. And I kinda loved that about this book. There were no games, no push and pull, no dramatic misunderstandings - none of the usual plot devices designed to rip budding couples apart. And what a marvelous thing that was. No - the real drama came from the increasing danger Viv finds herself in due to a disgruntled opponent and how she's supposed to stay safe and do her job at the same time. 

Ford and Viv are a great couple with a ton of chemistry. Viv, especially, really impressed me. She's a great example of a strong female character. She's intelligent, brave and confident, yet she's not afraid to ask for help or to be upset when the situation warrants it. 

The set-up of The Pecker Briefs might somewhat mimic Friction, but it's definitely got a lighter feel to it. A lot of that has to do with the subject matter. Viv is defending the red-cockaded woodpecker, so you can imagine all the word puns that came into play. Viv and Ford are electric between the sheets and incredibly sweet and adorable when in public. 

As expected, I loved The Pecker Briefs. I certainly hope that this is not the last story we see come out of Knight & Payne.

The famous rich guy/regular girl trope is one of my absolute favorites of all time. Only to now be replaced by the famous rich girl/regular guy trope. Jilted evoked all those deliciously warm fuzzy feelings we all got when we saw the movie Notting Hill for the first time where the big movie star falls hard for the normal guy. But what made Jilted even better was the fact that this famous woman and regular guy were in love many years before. And that would happen to also be another of my favorite tropes. Honestly, there was a 100% certainty that I was going to love this book. 

Eden is such an amazing heroine. She's the movie star who never quite gave in to all the Hollywood bullshit. Despite her money and fame, she's still got heart. And when it gets broken, she returns home to her small hometown in Georgia to take a breather. And when she's met with a less-than-welcoming town, she still stays and tries to get to the bottom of things. And then tries to fix them. Eden is strong and confident and absolutely not a push-over. And I loved that about her.

But, her reaction to Cooper is the best part of all. He's the boy she loved and left and he's living in her house. Cooper was over her, but when Eden shows up again, it doesn't take long for him to start feeling things for her again. Especially when both of them realize that some long-held perceptions of each other are totally wrong. When the mysteries are debunked and the misconceptions cleared up, though, they're left in a difficult position. It's obvious they still love each other, but Eden's life in California and Cooper's life in Georgia are about as different as night and day. 

It's no secret that Sawyer Bennett is one of my most favorite authors of all time. There's only one other author that I've read more books by. After putting 32 of Sawyer's books under my belt, you'd think the magic would start to wan. But, it seems like her stories just get better and better. And, I'm REALLY loving her Love Hurts series. I like how the books are sort of related with their subject matter, but they're not in any way tied together with characters or locations. I love the dual POVs and the sexy, steamy sex. The women are strong and the men are protective. I'm already ready for the next one.

I am so glad that Sawyer Bennett chose to not let the Wicked Horse go entirely. What is even better is that she ingeniously created a way to extend her series about a hot sex club, and yet still introduce new characters, situations and scenery into the mix. Welcome to The Wicked Horse Vegas. While the original is still in Wyoming, Bridges's friend Jerico has opened a satellite location on the top floor of a Las Vegas casino. Thus, the Wicked Horse Vegas was born. And thank goodness for that. 

Despite the new location, there were many elements to Wicked Favor that felt like the original series. Of course The Wicked Horse Vegas is a sex club, just like it's namesake. It's very high end and exclusive. The men and women who work there are sexy and confident and emotionally untouchable. Put all that together with the same incredible writing we've come to expect from Sawyer Bennett and the ridiculously hot and sexy situations in which the characters find themselves, and reading Wicked Favor was a little like coming home. 

However, don't fool yourselves into thinking you've read this all before. The club itself is very different from The Silo in Wyoming. I loved reading about the ways it departed from the original - it sounds like an awesome place. But the biggest difference is in the management. Jerico Jameson is a man wholly unique. He's former military and a stellar business man. He takes care of his staff and he knows his way around a woman's body. But, he never ever gives her anything of himself that's substantial and real. He was burned once and that was once too many times, especially when you consider it was his best friend from the service who did the burning. 

So, when his former BFF's sister comes to the club, asking for Jerico's help, he sees an opportunity to exact some revenge. He will put her to work, and work her over, and then send the proof to her brother. Not nice, Jerico.

For Trista's part, she's just trying to borrow some money from Jerico and then pay him off as quickly as possible. She has no idea of the animosity between her brother and the sex club owner. She has no idea she's nothing but a pawn. Man, I loved this girl. She is strong with a capital S - mostly because she goes after what she wants when she sees it. No matter how out of her comfort zone that puts her. 

As you can expect, real feelings develop, and then Jerico is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Does he continue on with his plan? Does he come clean to Trista? And, if he does, will she forgive him? 

I absolutely loved this new start to a familiar series. And I'm so glad that Sawyer Bennett brought us back to this wicked world that I love so much.

She pops her head in first and gives me a tentative smile. “You busy?”

“Not at all,” I tell her as I wave her in.

She disappears for a moment, and then opens the door wider. I see she’s carrying a large, plastic container that’s dome shaped and has a handle on top. My eyes only flick to it briefly before coming back to her. She’s much better to look at.

Shutting the door behind her, she walks up to my desk with a goofy grin on her face and sets the plastic container in front of me. I look down at it, and then up to her. “What’s that?”

“Something I made for you this morning,” she says, unlocking the tabs at the bottom. She lifts the dome top off, and I’m staring at a cake in front of me.

Slowly, I look back up to her. “You made me a cake?”

“Not just any cake,” she says while wagging a finger at me. “A four-layer, homemade red velvet cake with whipped mascarpone icing.”

“Jesus,” I mutter as I look at the cake, wondering what this weird squeezing sensation is in my chest. When I look back up to her, I have to ask her again, “You made that just for me?”

“Just for you,” she says with satisfaction all over her face. “You said it was your favorite, and I had some time this morning after pancakes.”

I push out of my chair and wave a hand at the cake. “You just happened to have all these ingredients, huh? You routinely use something as odd as mascarpone?”

Her grin turns mischievous as she shrugs. “Well, I may have had to go to the grocery store for a few things.”

Jesus fuck. I can’t believe she did that for me.

My mind races over the years, and I can’t remember anyone doing something so randomly nice for me. So spontaneous and with the sole intention of doing it to please me.

Picking up the cake, I round the desk and head for the side door that connects to my kitchen. “Let’s take this next door.”

I don’t miss the disgruntled expression on Trista’s face as she clearly expected me to act differently. I’m sure she was thinking I’d be a bit more effusive in my praise, and I intend to be.

Just… in my apartment.

She follows me through the door as I balance the cake on my hand. I immediately lay it down on my kitchen counter and spin around just as she’s walking through the door, taking her face in my hands and walking right into her. My mouth hits hers. She gives a huff of surprise as I turn slightly and back her into the refrigerator. Angling my head, I kiss her deeply. It’s possible because she angles hers the other way, opening her mouth to give me entrance.

Yes, it’s a deep kiss, but it’s not sexual. It’s a show of unbridled happiness that makes me feel like a kid, or perhaps it’s gratitude that Trista perhaps thinks this is something other than “just sex”.

When I pull away, Trista’s cheeks are pink and she’s slightly panting. She whispers breathlessly to me, “I should make you cake more often.”

The grin that breaks wide is my answer, followed by another swift kiss. Then I’m turning away from her and grabbing a fork out of my drawer. Without any pomp, and certainly no circumstance to wait for a plate, I punch my fork down into the top of the cake and pull a huge chunk out.

“Oh, my God.” Trista giggles as she comes to stand beside me at the counter. I angle toward her as I bring the fork to my lips, open my mouth wide, and shove the cake in. Cheeks bulging and the taste of rich cake and lightly sweet, tangy frosting coating my tongue, I groan in satisfaction. Our eyes stay locked as I chew and chew and chew, and finally swallow the heaven in my mouth. Trista’s eyes are sparkling with humor and a bit of pride.

“Good?” she asks.

I give a swipe of my tongue over my bottom lip to catch some stray frosting there. “It’s amazing. Thank you.”

She beams a brilliant smile as she sets the cake carrier on the counter and turns toward the door that leads back into my office. “You’re welcome. Now… I’ve got to get going.”

“Wait,” I say as I snag her arm and turn her back to me. “You just got here.”

“And my work is done,” she says impishly, going to her tiptoes to give me a quick kiss. “I’m meeting Mom and Corinne for lunch, and I’ve got to get going.”

Well, there goes all thought of spending my afternoon with Trista in bed rather than golfing.

But I’d never begrudge her time with Jolene and Corinne. Their unity right now is extremely important. I do pull her into me and wrap my arms around her waist after throwing the fork into the sink. Trista’s hands come to my chest as she looks up at me curiously.

“Take the night off,” I tell her softly and I have to admit, the way her eyes go warm makes me feel fucking really good. “Make it an entire day and night thing with Corinne, okay?”

“Really?” she asks with sweetest type of surprise in her eyes.

“Yeah,” I murmur as I tighten my arms around her. “I’ll keep myself occupied with the cake tonight.”

Her lips quirking, she gets a playful look in her eyes. “We could… um… FaceTime each other later.”

My eyebrows rise with interest, but I play a little stupid. “FaceTime?”

“Naked. FaceTime.” She annunciates each word slowly, and my dick perks up at this suggestion.

And for a man who has done about every dirty thing imaginable, it hits me hard that this is something new. Something I’ve never done with another woman and now, I’m glad she’s not coming so I can have something new and unique just with Trista.

“What time might you be calling me?” I ask in a husky voice.

“Be ready around eleven,” she says, pressing into me. “Clothing is optional.”

“Wrong,” I tell her with a shake of my head. “Naked is mandatory.”

Valentine French is a high maintenance rich city girl who would like to know what it's like to date a REAL man for a change. So would all her blog readers. After hearing the man to woman ratio in Alaska is, like, 15 to 1, she decides to try her luck there, and is not only not disappointed, but soon finds herself in way over her head when she makes it to a small town and meets its only police officer. 

You would think that Valley French would be a hard character to like. She's completely ignorant about how the real world works. She's used to car services and full service salons and personal shoppers. Sharing a bathroom with a bunch of mountain men in her "bed and breakfast" (read: boarding house) and eating caribou stew at the bar down the street is way out of her comfort zone. 

But, Valley actually was extremely likable because she was willing to adapt and she never, ever was hurtful or insulting toward the locals. She knew enough to know that she was unprepared for her experience in Alaska and was willing to do what she needed to in order to fit in and function in her surroundings. 

It helped that she had a major crush on the town hot cop, Logan Burke. I'm surprised that Logan went for someone like Valley, but perhaps it was a combination of her difference from everyone else that he already knew and her easy going and likable personality. As much as he didn't like it, she was honest with him about her intentions to come to Alaska and do some dating around. And I liked that he sort of took that as a challenge to try and take her off the market. 

I liked that things were not easy for Valley. Aside from the usual challenges with adapting to an environment that is so vastly different from what she's used to, Valley also has to deal with some small town problems like everyone knowing your business and not everyone being happy about it. All this gave Valley a chance to flex her people skills, and heaven knows, it gave her plenty of fodder for her blog. 

Logan's and Valley's romance was a slow burn that soon combusted into smoking hot times and lots of sweetness too. They were a perfect odd couple, which made them endearing and easy to root for. They were playful with one another, and I loved their banter and the situations that Logan had to rescue Valley from. Sawyer Bennett has proven that she can do hot and serious and dangerous and angsty. Sex in the Sticks proves that she also has romantic comedy in the bag.

I swear, I never thought I'd hear from Kyle again. We caught glimpses of him in two other Sawyer Bennett series (Last Call and Wicked Horse), but when Bridger pretty much put the nail in Kyle's coffin at the end of Wicked Bond (Wicked Horse #5), I seriously thought that was it. I am SO happy to be wrong. 

If you've read Wicked Bond, then you know what an uphill battle Kyle has to climb. He's been undercover for the past three years, with the sole mission of taking down the Mayhem's Mission motorcycle club. As an undercover agent, he's had to blend in with the club members. Which means he had to do unspeakable things that went against his principles and his moral fiber. Doing things like that can permanently stain a person's soul. And, without a doubt, Kyle is feeling that stain. 

I look at Jane Cresson and realize I've been missing out on the reality of life. I've been completely without the little things that make life worth living. Good friends and family, a sense of belonging, and a joy-filled life. My life so far has been nothing but subsistence, and not a very fulfilling one at that. 

So, while hiding out in the middle of small town, Maine, and waiting for the final trial that will put an end to this dark time in his life, Kyle meets Jane, a local artist and school teacher. And even though he's drawn to her light and her goodness, he absolutely does not want his stain to spread to her. 

I have never wanted to befriend a character more than Kyle Sommerville. This poor man needs a real friend in the worst way. He needs someone to tell him that what he did in those moments of his life did not define him. That he's still lovable. That he can still love others the right way. In fact, he may be even better equipped to love others now that he's seen all the wrong ways it can be done. Kyle needs pure, unconditional, no-strings attached love and tenderness. And truly, Jane Cresson is the perfect person to give it to him. 

I LOVED Jane. She was introverted and quiet and sweet. But, she also knows when someone needs her. And she was able to see through Kyle's extremely hot exterior (although, that admittedly was hard. Because, holy hot bad boy...) and his angry, aloof disposition to the hurting man underneath. And so, she dogged him in the best ways. This girl was absolutely relentless, offering him meals and help with his projects and doing nice things for him. She made it impossible for Kyle to keep turning her away. 

But, Kyle is so damaged by his time with the MC, he's afraid he can't be a normal man anymore. That he wouldn't have been able to do those things with the club if he didn't have a little bit of darkness in him anyway. And now that he's killed people, beaten people, screwed countless whores, done drugs and committed countless other crimes, Kyle's afraid that no amount of love and acceptance will bring him back from that. 

I can't blame him. I can't imagine how messed up his head is after acting a part for three years. Wouldn't your reality get confused? How would you recognize the "real you" after living like that for so long? I get it - I get why Kyle is angry and moody. I understand why he pushed Jane away again and again. But I also understand why he began to pull her close after a time as well. 

Finding Kyle was really sad at times. It's impossible not to feel a huge amount of compassion for this man who is a hero, but is now really lost. And it's impossible to not be cheering for he and Jane from the very beginning. She's so perfect for him because she's so different from everything he has known. That, and, she may be a small-town school teacher, but Jane loves being the one getting schooled by Kyle in the bedroom.

Finding Kyle was a great conclusion to both the Wicked Horse and the Last Call series. It brought several characters' stories to a completely satisfying conclusion, and although I'm sorry to say goodbye to all these characters - and especially Kyle and Jane - the ending was just so perfect, I can't complain even a little bit.

It’s not that I want her in that way. Let’s be realistic… it would take a crow bar of epic proportions to get her to spread those legs for me.

No, I only want her legal expertise and for her to make sense of my crazy world. It’s a good thing I have just the leverage to make her do my bidding, because her refusal is not an option.

Sawyer Bennett's books are always a sure thing for me. I know that, no matter what characters or plot she chooses, I'll get a dirty-talking alpha male, a heroine who can stand on her own two feet, and a completely fulfilling HEA. So far, Sawyer has given us books with hockey players, lawyers, writers, surfers and military vets, just to name a few. With Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll, she gives us a rock god to add to the list, and Evan Scott fulfilled all my dirty-talking alpha male needs.

We've seen this trope before - confident, sexy, rich guy takes an interest in the boring, introverted work-a-holic girl and vows to bring her out of her shell. Call it predictable, but man - it does it for me every single time. Evan is indeed all those things. He's the hottest new rock star out there, but he's also being plagued by some legal issues. One of his former band mates was recently murdered, and the others are suing him for royalties and copyright infringement. He needs a good lawyer, and Emma's spitfire of a boss (who we know from Sawyer Bennett's Friction series) taps her for the job. 

This takes Emma WAY far out of her comfort zone, which is buried deep in legalese and contracts so thick, it would take a year to read every word. She's not comfortable handling murder raps, copyright law or hotness personified. She's definitely not good with the rock and roll scene of sex, drugs, noise and groupies. And yet, she's backed into a corner by both Evan and her boss, and is forced to see it all through in order to get a position that better suits her. 

My favorite part about this book is how Evan pursued Emma. From the first time he met her, and they clashed, he was intrigued by her and wanted to know her better. But, he's a smart guy, and knew that she's not like the women he's used to. He had to give her a purpose to be with him, and slowly use his affections and attention to woo her. And wow - he is good at the wooing. He is patient and kind. But, not too patient and too kind - he pushes Emma when she needs it and doesn't back down. And when he turns that sexiness on her full blast and her panties melted off, I was right there with her.

Even wallflowers can fall victim to expert wooing. I was glad that Emma wasn't so uptight to not recognize her feelings for what they were. I was not, however, thrilled with her reaction to the main conflict in the book, at the dreaded 75-80% mark. I knew what was going to happen long before it did, and until that point, I had really liked Emma. But, her reaction was disappointing. I wanted her to be better than that. But, her reaction caused Evan to go back to the wooing, which is never a bad thing. And that satisfying HEA that I mentioned earlier? It's here in spades. 

Sawyer Bennett will continue to be of one my one-click favorites if she keeps writing books like this. And I have every confidence that she will.

Sugar Free is an incredible, frustrating, heart-pounding, sexy conclusion to Beck and Sela's story. If you like books where the HEA seems completely elusive, then you'll love this one. For so many chapters, I found myself biting my nails wondering how Beck and Sela were going to get out of the mess in which they both now find themselves. 

Sugar Free picks up moments after the end of Sugar Rush - with a blood-stained Sela standing in front of Beck and his sister after her encounter with JT at his house. Sela has made her bed and is prepared to lie in it, but Beck is not willing to leave her fate to chance. Instead, he puts himself in harm's way, but more and more it seems like there will be no HEA for either of them. 

I knew from the first two books in this series that Beck was a special kind of alpha male. It was clear in Sugar Rush that he had fallen completely in love with Sela and would protect her from JT at all costs. He went to some pretty extreme measures in that book to make that happen. But, as it turns out, we hadn't seen even the tip of the iceberg when it came to Beck's devotion to this woman. 

As frustrating as it was when Beck stood in for Sela in front of the police and lawyers and his family, it was also incredibly sexy. That this man would go that far to protect his woman was incredible to me. He never wavered. Never questioned what he felt he had to do. His loyalty was first and foremost to Sela, and that made him the absolute best kind of hero. 

Don't worry - Sela is not the kind of woman to tolerate anyone taking any sort of punishment that was really meant for her. ESPECIALLY the man she is absolutely devoted to. She is always trying to do the right thing. Beck is telling her that that is to let him handle things. Her heart is telling her that that is to woman up and tell the whole truth. 

Despite all the stress and uncertainty that permeates this book, there was still plenty of time for the sexy times that Beck and Sela do so very well. Their chemistry and depth of emotion with one another makes for some super hot scenes. I just love how open and honest and loving they are with each other. They always seem to know what the other needs, and that makes for a pretty dynamic couple. 

We see a lot more of Beck's sister in Sugar Free, which was nice. And, I don't think it gives anything away to say that, by the very end, all questions are answered and all loose ends are tied up. And the epilogue - WOW. What an incredible conclusion. Thinking about it makes me feel all emotional again - it was SO well done. I can't wait for you to read it.

If you’ve been following Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse series even a little, you will be familiar with Bridger Payne, owner and proprietor of both the Wicked Horse bar and the secret super kinky sex club, The Silo, which resides behind it. This character is impossible to miss. He’s larger than life - hot, quiet, intense, complicated and aloof. Bridger is incredibly loyal to everyone he cares about, and he regularly uses his seemingly endless connections to help them. He also seems incredibly emotionally unavailable - heck, not just that, but at times it seems like he just doesn't have any emotions at all.

So, of course, his book is the last in the series, and the one we’ve all be dying to read. Bridger? Finding LOVE? I just knew this was going to be epic. And it SO was.

I already mentioned Bridger’s willingness to help the people important to him - that stems from a very sexy protective instinct that kicks in as soon as he meets Maggie, a woman who was beaten within an inch of her life by some super nasty people. In Maggie, he finds a woman with many of the same qualities as himself - loyal, brave, and selfless. And she has seemingly infinite patience when it comes to Bridger and his moods. She seems like the perfect match for him, except Bridger has a ton of baggage that stems from his truly horrific childhood. And, sometimes I found myself wondering if even the love of a good woman could drag him back from the hell he was living in every day.

I found myself thinking through most of the book that the bad guys were the people that tortured Maggie. And yes - they definitely qualified. But, really, the main “bad guy” was Bridger’s past and the fact that he has never let it go. It has shaped who he is now - a loner who spurns any and all intimacy with women.

The wait for Bridger’s story was a long one, but it was SO worth it. Seeing Bridger uncomfortable was new and exciting and I loved every second of it. Knowing that his discomfort was because of a woman was even better. The unflappable sexy club owner had finally met his match.

And, because Wicked Bond was the last book in Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse series (say it isn’t so!!), we got to see all the previous four couples at different times during the book. If it all has to end, this was a great send-off.

Holy crap - that ending. THIS SERIES! If you haven't started the Sugar Bowl series by Sawyer Bennett, you need to get on that ASAP. Because it's blowing my mind with its awesomeness.

Sugar Rush picks up moments after Sugar Daddy left off. Which is a very good thing, because the cliffhanger at the end of Sugar Daddy left me reeling. Thank you, Sawyer Bennett, for not making me wait too long to find out what happened next for Sela and Beck. 

So, Sela finally came clean to Beckett about what happened to her at the hands of his business partner JT, and now Beckett is in a difficult position. He needs to find a way to cut his ties with JT, keep his business and protect his girl, all while playing like everything is cool at work. This is no small feat, especially since JT is Beck's best friend and has been for a long time. 

Meanwhile, Sela has to learn to rely on Beck to help her. It's become obvious to her that her original plan to infiltrate the Sugar Bowl, murder JT, and either die herself or go to jail for the rest of her life, isn't really a viable one anymore. She now has something to live for - a reason to look forward to the future. 

Trust is a hard thing for Sela though, as we saw in book 1. She doesn't give it or her hard-won control up easily. But if anyone can convince her to, it's Beck. I LOVE this guy. He's one of the good ones. His company may be a bit on the sketchy side, but he's inherently a good guy. He helps others, loves fiercely and will go to great lengths to protect people he loves. Which is made very obvious in Sugar Rush. 

Once again, Sawyer Bennett hits us with one awesome cliffhanger. It made me wish I had the last book on hand right away, because one bad decision, one huge information bomb and one crazy final scene all in the last chapter had me ripping my hair out, wishing I could just keep reading. I can't wait to read more hot Sela and Beck scenes, find out what's happening with their plans to oust JT and live happily ever after.

When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active toddler, as well as full-time servant to two adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
