(From Goodreads) He had held a secret that destroyed her world.

Everything she had known was no longer true.

Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again. What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?

You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.

After finishing Fallen Too Far (Too Far #1), and after having fallen completely in love with Rush, I turned the wireless on on my Kindle, found Never Too Far, and pulled the trigger. I've only done this a few times in the two years I've owned my Kindle, so that right there should say a lot about how anxious I was to read Never Too Far.

And, it certainly didn't disappoint. Blaire has left Rush after he lied to her about who he and his sister were, and gone back home to her BFF Cain. Except, everything is different now. Home isn't really home and Caleb isn't as comfortable as he once was. It seems a post-Rush world isn't as easy to go back to. So that fact, plus unfinished business, propels Blaire back to the beach, and no matter how hard she tries, she just can't stay away from the man she loves.

If it's even possible, I loved Rush so much more in Never Too Far. And, by the same token, Blaire frustrated me so much more as well. I found myself sighing and cooing whenever Rush exhibited his take-charge attitude, and growling and rolling my eyes whenever Blaire overthought things and made stupid decisions.

Hey - it's all good, though. Any book that elicits verbal and physical reactions like that from me is a good one. Even though Blaire and Rush definitely stole the show, the supporting characters really made Never Too Far a well-rounded book. Jace, Woods, Grant, Nan, Cain and Bethy gave Blaire and Rush so much more depth and likeability. They also helped to break up the heavy storyline.

Ms. Abbi Glines is a new favorite author of mine. Every time she manages to create the hottest and sweetest book boyfriends on the planet, with compelling storylines that make me swoon and get all hot and bothered. Never Too Far was no different. I could not put this book down. It was hot in all the VERY best of ways, and I couldn't wait to find out how Blaire's and Rush's story ended.

Can I voice a few of my frustrations here? Can anyone tell me why every male in Rosemary thought it necessary to fawn over Blaire? Seriously - Rush, Woods, Grant, Jace, Cain - they all treated her like she was made of porcelain, for cripes sake. It was just a smidge nauseating.

And, despite the mostly sweet moments between Rush add Blaire, they both did things that I didn't get. The way Blaire treated Rush in the first third of the book was the most infuriating part of the whole damn thing. No girl with the kind of connection she has with Rush should do what she did. And, then at the end, I don't quite understand why Blaire stood around and took what Rush was dishing out. It was completely contradictory to how she acted in the entire rest of the story.
But, the end - oh em gee. The end is so, so sweet. It made all the frustration and anxiety I experienced so worth it.

Ok I still haven't read Fallen Too Far even though I have a copy. So, from your review I get that this is not a wrapped up story but rather a series with the same characters??
Must read it NOW!

Danny, the first two in the Too Far series are about the same characters. While I wouldn't exactly say that Fallen Too Far ends with a "cliffhanger," there are some HUGE loose ends left dangling that made me pick up Never Too Far immediately. Abbi Glines has said she'll write one more book about Blaire and Rush.

Meanwhile, Twisted Perfection (Too Far #3), which just came out on April 22, is about one of the supporting characters - Woods (YUM).
