I've got my registration confirmation and my hotel room. So, now what??
This will be my first time there, and I always approach new experiences
the same way - research, research and more research. And, the more
research I do about this amazing event, the more overwhelmed I feel. So,
I plan to break down my schizo thoughts in an attempt to:
A. Get organized
B. Gather comments from seasoned BEA professionals
In my last installment of BEA Newb Notes, I talked about the authors I would give my right arm to see. Today, I'd like to call your attention to the books I'd give my left arm to come home with. I better hope these big plans work out, or I'll be eating with my feet.
The author signing schedule has been released, galley drops are s-l-o-w-l-y being announced, and in-booth signings are hitting the interwebz. From what's out there now, here are some of the books I'm going to try really hard to come home with.
The Enchanter Heir, by Cinda Williams Chima
The Fiery Heart, by Richelle Mead
Breathe, by Abbi Glines
The Ward, by Jordana Frankel
Some Quiet Place, by Kelsey Sutton
Frigid, by J. Lynn
Faking It, by Cora Carmack
Crown of Midnight, by Sarah Maas
Afterburn, by Sylvia Day
These Broken Stars, by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
Of course, I anticipate coming home with more books than this. These are just 10 of the books that are topping my list as being the ones I intend to try my hardest to acquire. In addition, I plan to pick up these two for my little girl, who will have a birthday in June. Since she is her mother's daughter, she loves signed books.
Fancy Nancy Secret Admirer, by Jane O'Connor
Hurry Up Houdini (Magic Treehouse #50), by Mary Pop Osborne
You can certainly count on several round-up posts after BEA is over. One of which, will be a review of all my lovely new pretties and swag. And, there will most certainly be at least one kick ass giveaway with some pretties for you too. Wish me luck as I complete my plans and hope for the best!

Ah1!!! I'm excited to meet you - which I'm sure we will seeing your list of books hehe!!!
I'm not sure Silvia Day will be singing After Burn - I hope so but according to the schedule she will sign Refelcted in You! I hope you are right though! Please be right!
And your list is incredibly like mine. I just want to add WILD CARD from Simone Ekeles - gosh I want a copy so bad!
Ha! Danny, Wild Card is avtually on my "must haves" list as well! I only didn't list it in this post because there isn't a cover design on GR yet. :)
I can't remember where I saw that Sylvia Day was going to be signing Afterburn. But, I know she's doing an in-booth signing for both Harlequin and Penguin, so I'm assuming (hoping) that means she'll be signing Reflected In You and something else. Fingers Crossed!
See you in line - I can't wait to meet you either!!
Great list! I am hoping to get These Broken Stars, Crown of Midnight, The Ward, and Some Quiet Place!
