(Synopsis) She's the tutor I hired to teach me Italian.

She's way too young for me, but she's also gorgeous, bright and filled with a curiosity about life that I find incredibly refreshing.

It's fucking adorable.

I’m old enough to know better, but this pretty young thing tempts me beyond belief. And for the first time in my life, I can see myself falling.

***
Is this what it's like to be pursued by an older man? The complete confidence, the lack of expectations, the sincerity?

My God, it's exhilarating.

Quinn Kinglsey is totally unexpected. I'm moving to Italy in three weeks to teach English, and while I never expected something so real to develop between us so quickly, our chemistry is explosive.

There's something so sexy about this back and forth he and I share. Flirting with this man is like playing with fire, and I'm bound to get burned.

Io sono attratto da te I'm attracted to you, he tells me.

But is our attraction enough to get us through the complications of a massive age gap and an international love affair? Only one way to find out…

Tempting Little Tease spells the end of the Forbidden Desires series... or is it? Each of the books has followed one of the three Kingsley brothers (books 1 and 2 were both about middle brother Gavin), but Kendall Ryan threw us a delightful twist in this book that opens the door just a bit for at least one more book in this sexy series. I'm TOTALLY down for that.

While the first three books in the series were angsty and emotional and very much a roller coaster ride of highs and lows, Tempting Little Tease was much more steady and sure. It's really only right that it's like that, since oldest brother Quinn has always been the calm in the Kingsley storm. He's been Switzerland while Gavin and Cooper went through their problems with each other, never picking sides, and always trying to play the peacemaker.

Quinn has stood by and watched Gavin and Cooper find the loves of their lives. He's seen them settled and his business taken into a good place after a bit of scandal. It's now his time to find love, and it just so happens to be with a woman who is quite a bit younger than him. I wouldn't exactly classify this relationship as a true May/December, but there's definitely enough of a gap to give both Quinn and Alessandra pause.

To be fair, they didn't pause long. They knew immediately when she walked into his office to help continue his Italian lessons that there was a big connection there. I was so glad they didn't make their ages a big deal. Quinn is 38 and Alessandra is 22 - both are completely legal and able to decide who they want.

The biggest roadblock to them being together is the fact that Alessandra has a one-way ticket to Rome that leaves in three weeks. She intends to move there permanently to live and teach in a new country. Again - there wasn't a ton of over-amplified drama around her impending move, which I also appreciated. There was more of a quiet determination on Quinn's part to squeeze as much substance out of their time together as possible, and maybe she will fall so hard for him, she'll decide to stay. It's a solid plan - much better than any games or hyped up angst that you see in some books.

The only thing I felt was missing from Tempting Little Tease was Forbidden Desires. While Gavin and Cooper's romances developed at work, and as such, we saw a lot of the inner workings of the company, Quinn and Alessandra fell in love outside of work. I missed the workplace banter between the brothers and I missed some of the drama a business like theirs comes with.

Although there is a door that was opened to a possible fifth book in this series, but even if there isn't one, the ending of Tempting Little Tease - and the Forbidden Desires series - was completely satisfying. I really loved Quinn and Alessandra as a couple, and I loved the catch-ups with Gavin and Emma and Cooper and Corinne. It was a sexy, sweet romance from the amazing Kendall Ryan.

(Synopsis) We met in a trapped elevator.

Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.

I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?

At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.

After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.

But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

*dreamy sigh*

Could Kendall Ryan make a more perfect man than Emmett Baxter? No. No, she could not. I mean, this guy is a sweet alpha male - a unicorn! He's rich, commanding, gorgeous, sexy humanitarian - he's willing to endure the pain and suffering of having tons of sex with a fascinating woman who desperately wants a baby. He's willing to give up all rights to the child and give her what she wants while getting what he wants - a hell of a good time. What a giving man. You know what they say about the best laid plans...

While I instantly fell in love with Emmett's charm, Jenna Porter was a character that I took a bit more time to warm up to. She's a business woman who has learned the hard way that men will disappoint you. Every. Time. She's 35 and wants a baby, so she's going to do it all by herself at the sperm bank. But, when the elevator malfunctions with her and Emmett in it, those plans are blown to pieces. Although she accepts his offer to put a bun in her oven, she acts very cold toward him for a very long time. She tries so hard to keep this situation strictly a business transaction, and in the face of Emmett's sweetness, that was frustrating.

Emmett's transformation over the course of the book was my favorite part. He starts out as this island of a man - one who doesn't really do close relationships, especially with women. He always treats them with respect, but he never, ever gets close. This brilliant man thinks he can make a woman pregnant and not get close to her. As he learns, that's completely impossible. And through his interactions with Jenna - both in bed and out of it - and the possibility of a future he never even thought of, he changes his priorities and his own dreams.

Jenna took a little longer to follow in his footsteps. And as a reader knowing that these two had an additional, professional connection that was bound to blow up in their faces, and not knowing precisely when that would happen, you knew that things weren't going to go smoothly for these two for awhile. And that was okay. Because watching them fall in love and prepare for a new baby while trying to remain "friends" was a ton of fun.

Baby Daddy was a fantastic read with a dreamy hero that you won't soon forget.

(Synopsis) The first time we met was at a party.

Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.

I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.

The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.

The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.

I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it.

You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.
I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be the adviser to your program and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too.

xo, Zach

Zach may be the perfect man. He's sexy, smart, thoughtful and he writes personal love poems. Swoon. City. Poppy has lady balls of steel, because she resisted this manly package of perfection for far longer than any other warm blooded girl would have. For a while, I found that frustrating. Until it became clear what she was so worried about when it came to him, and then I felt so badly for her, because talk about being between a rock and a hard place.

See, Zach is Poppy's advisor for her masters class. He's not her professor, but he is the faculty member who is assigned to grad students to help critique their work and to point them down the right career path. Although it's not as bad as if he were her professor, it's still frowned upon for a grad student to be objectifying her advisor. And due to her life circumstances, Poppy has no room for error.

Zach is equally in a tough spot. He can't stop thinking about Poppy, even when he knows he should. The thing I loved the most about Zach is that he never adopted any pretense with Poppy. No games. Just the truth. From the get-go, Zach told her that he was thinking of her. That he wanted her. For sex AND a relationship. He tried to dial back his attraction, but when it became clear that it was a lost cause, he abandoned it and was determined to find a way for them to be together. So, in addition to being sexy, smart and thoughtful, he's also a straight shooter. See? Perfect man.

There was a ton of push and pull between these two, and most of it was on Poppy's side. She'd give in a little, then pull back. Give in... pull back. It ramped up the sexual tension between them, that's for sure. It seemed to simmer forever. But, when they finally gave in, it was so incredible.

Zach's mother threatened to steal the show every time she showed up. She was absolutely hysterical, and the relationship she has with her son is wonderful. Her unfiltered commentary on his sex life was the absolute best.

xo, Zach was another Kendall Ryan winner with a swoony boy and a bookworm girl who fall into forbidden love.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: The Soul Mate (Roommates #4)

Opposites attract in Kendall Ryan's latest addition to her Roommates series.

(Synopsis) The smoking-hot one-night stand I was never supposed to see again?

Yeah, well, I might be pregnant, and he’s my OB-GYN.

Like all the other installments in Kendall Ryan's Roommates series before it, The Soul Mate was a fun, sexy, easy read. Sometimes you just need a book like that - one that captures your attention right away, isn't too heavy or drama-laden, and isn't tome length so that you can finish it in one lazy day. Every book in this series is like that, including The Soul Mate.

Bren is a woman that I took turns loving and being incredibly frustrated with. I love her job as a zoologist. She's awesome with animals, and I enjoyed when she would tell Mason all these interesting facts about the animals she takes care of. But, conversely, she has serious commitment issues that cause her to miss all the wonderful things that are right in front of her.

She's not opposed to one-night stands. Hence - her one amazing night with Mason. But, as you can imagine, when she suspects she might be pregnant a few weeks later, she reaches epic freak-out levels. This is way more commitment than she ever wanted. Luckily, there's no chance she can hide it from Mason (which is a HUGE bookish pet peeve of mine), since a weird chance of fate makes Mason her OB-GYN.

Where Bren might be completely opposed to creating ties to another person, but Mason is convinced his one perfect person is out there, and he wants to find her. In fact, after his one night with Bren, he's sure it's her. When she shows up at his practice wanting a pregnancy test, he's even more positive. But, she throws up roadblocks left and right, and Mason looks for any way possible to get to know her.

Bren's commitment to being commitment free got on my nerves at times. Mason was so amazing and incredibly patient with her. He's sweet and attentive. Even when things in his own life get distracting, he stays the course when it comes to Bren, but she is such a tough nut to crack. I get why she has the hangups she does, but how many times does one person need to show you kindness and goodness and sexiness before you learn to trust?

Despite my frustrations with Bren, I loved how her relationship with Mason developed and how they slowly learned to trust each other with the good stuff and the hard stuff. It was a good way to spend my day.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Sexy Stranger

I love me some Kendall Ryan. And I LOVED me some Sexy Stranger.

Sexy Stranger, by Kendall Ryan
Publish Date:
May 23, 2017
Publisher: self-published
Format: e-ARC, provided by the author and Inkslinger PR
Genre: adult contemporary romance
To Buy: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Rating: 4.5 STARS

(Synopsis) He's rude. Arrogant. And too hot to handle.

And she's stranded with him for an entire week.

He knows the sexy stranger doesn't belong in his small town, but he's determined to keep her there. The second she opens her smart mouth, he wants to swap a whole lot more than insults with her.

She’s got a secret. But he’s got his own agenda.

Buckle up.

These fish-out-of-water books are so much freaking fun. Take a metropolitan city girl and drop her in the middle of nowhere without the comforts of home, and she's forced to focus on her surroundings in a way she wouldn't have otherwise. And it also results in tons of super awkward moments. #bonus

In Sexy Stranger, Charlotte is road tripping from NYC to Los Angeles when her $120K car breaks down in a tiny Texas town with spotty cell service, no Uber and nosey townspeople. She's forced to wait a week for her car to get fixed, which gives her lots of time to observe the wildlife - namely local  boy Luke and his twin brother Duke (cue the Dukes of Hazard fantasies). Too bad, she pissed him off and insulted his brother in their first meeting.

Luke and his family have been struggling to make a go of his family's whiskey business since his parents died. He's a family man - would love to settle down and have some kids, and even though Charlotte is beautiful and smart and interesting, she's not sticking around, so she's not part of his master plan. But, he decides she could be a fun distraction.

If I only had Charlotte until her car was fixed, I was going to make the most of it.

I gotta admit - I wasn't a big Charlotte fan at all. She blew into town with her judgy attitude and inappropriate attire and I just couldn't wait for someone to put her in her place. I didn't even feel bad that she was obviously running from a situation at home.

But, I also gotta admit that Charlotte grew on me very quickly. Once she was forced to accept her situation and make the most of it, she did just that. She used her marketing skills to help out Luke's business. She got to know some of the townspeople and realized she liked them. And she started to realize that there are wonderful things about small towns.

I wasn't used to a man who had nothing to offer but himself and yet gave it so freely - letting his interest be known, to hell with the consequences.

There's hurt in both Luke's past and in Charlotte's and in both cases, that hurt gets in the way of their happiness. But, I was so pleased to see how even just one week of small town living affected Charlotte and her perspective on both hers and Luke's situations. It showed so much growth on her part in just a short time. I loved that about her.

I know Sexy Stranger is just a standalone, but I would LOVE to see more stories from this town. Duke needs to stop his manwhoring ways and settle down - preferably with Charlotte's bestie Valentina. And their little sister Molly needs to find a good man. If their stories all end up as wonderful as Luke's, then they can't lose.

COVER REVEAL: The Room Mate

Holy abs on steroids... Kendall Ryan has had some really good covers. Especially lately. But, I don't think ANY were as awesome as her upcoming standalone, THE ROOM MATE.

(Synopsis) The last time I saw my best friend’s younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check.

Now twenty-four, he’s broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he’s pure temptation.

Fresh out of a messy breakup, he doesn’t want any entanglements. But I can resist, right?

I’m holding strong until the third night of our new arrangement when we get drunk and he confesses his biggest secret of all: he’s cursed when it comes to sex. Apparently he’s a god in bed, and women instantly fall in love with him.

I’m calling bullshit. In fact, I’m going to prove him wrong, and if I rack up a few much-needed orgasms in the process, all the better.

There’s no way I’m going to fall in love with Cannon. But once we start…I realize betting against him may have been the biggest mistake of my life.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW & EXCERPT: The Fix Up

Sterling was everything I knew he would be. I loved The Fix Up and can't wait for you to read it too! Check out my review and an excerpt from the book...

The Fix Up, by Kendall Ryan
Publish Date:
October 11, 2016
Publisher: self-published
Format: ARC, provided by the author and Inkslinger PR
Genre: adult contemporary romance
To Buy: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Rating: 4.5 STARS

(Synopsis) My tempting and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits.

It's not just that we're friends, he's also cocky, confident, and British, which means he's a walking aphrodisiac.

But lately he's been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I'm not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long.

When we start working together, that's when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I've harbored for him disappear, because there's no way this can end well.

The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I'm stuck between a rock, and Sterling's very, very hard place.

Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together.

But I've been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I'm not about to be cast aside like yesterday's underwear when he's done having fun.

Sterling’s never been told no, and he's not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he'd fight so dirty.

The Fix Up is a spin-off from Kendall Ryan's Hitched series, but even if you didn't read that one, you can still enjoy all the sexy British goodness that is Sterling Quinn with absolutely no problems. None.

Sterling is a happy manwhore. He knows his accent gets him lots of action, and he's cool with that. He's a successful divorce attorney who puts absolutely no stock in love and commitment. The only woman he loves and trusts is his mother, who sadly is in a home with severe dementia. So, when he's informed that he stands to inherit $50 million from a distant relative, it seems his wildest dreams are coming true. Except, in order to claim the cash, he has to get married, and he has six months to find Mrs. Sterling Quinn.

Camryn Palmer is the PR rep hired to help Sterling find a wife. It helps that they are already acquainted since their respective BFFs recently were married (check out Hitched for that story). Although she's always been wildly attracted to him, Sterling put her squarely in the friend zone soon after their meeting, and she's stayed there ever since. Now she has to work closely with him, which only amps up her attraction tenfold. Except, she has to find him a wife.

I just knew that Sterling was going to be awesome. I love the reformed manwhore trope, and it's even better that Sterling is so likable. He's confident, but not cocky. He has slept with lots of girls, but not so many that he's gross. He's sweet and attentive and the first one to admit when what he's doing just isn't working anymore.

Sterling and Camryn have a great connection. Their efforts at being just friends include hilarious banter, fun dinners and delicious sexually charged moments. And when they finally give in to the inevitable, it's even better between the two of them. As it turns out, Sterling is just what Camryn needed to get out of her dating slump and Camryn is just what Sterling needed to settle down and realize what he needs.

But of course, as we see so often in books with lots of kissing, communication is not a strong suit. Camryn doesn't want Sterling to marry some random chick that's good for him on paper, and Sterling would rather ditch the fortune, despite his mom, and keep Camryn in his life. And neither of them shares that with the other.

The Fix Up was a great book - one of my favorites by Kendall Ryan. I wonder if she's got any more up her sleeve from this world?

I twist the doorknob, and finding it unlocked, let myself inside.
Sterling’s place is compact, but modern and classy. It suits him. After a quick glance around the living space, I spot him on the balcony outside, just beyond the glass doors at the far end of the living room. He’s facing away from me, his hands gripping the railing, his head bowed.

My smile from moments ago is gone. Seeing him like this—looking distraught—brings the reality of our situation crashing back.

Sterling suddenly turns and we lock eyes. A thousand emotions are revealed in his eyes, but mostly there’s anger. There’s also a sadness in his gaze that I’ve never seen. It’s haunting.

I swallow a lump in my throat, wondering what’s going on.

“Sterling?” I ask, slowly approaching the balcony.

It’s beautiful—plush pillows and twinkling lights, and a chilled bottle of white wine all nestled together in a romantic picnic for two.

He lets out a heavy sigh and runs one hand through his hair.

“This is beautiful,” I say since he hasn’t spoken, hasn’t even moved from the spot where he’s rooted, and his stony silence is killing me. “Are you okay?”

“Just fine,” he says curtly, his gaze looking past me.

He doesn’t seem fine. He seems off. Why go through all the effort if he’s just going to act sullen and withdrawn?

And what could have possibly changed in the twenty-four hours since we last spoke on the phone? He seemed so excited—like he hadn’t a care in the world. Now it seems he doesn’t want me here.

“If this is a bad time, if tonight doesn’t work . . .” I trail off, my voice suddenly shaky.

“The meal’s already prepared.” He brushes past me, headed toward the kitchen.

Unsure what to do, I follow behind him.

He’s acting like an asshole, and I suddenly feel so stupid for getting all done up tonight. I’m not going to stand around and embarrass myself by begging for his attention.

“You know what? Never mind. This was a bad idea, anyway. I’ll see myself out.” I turn and head for the front door, anger and rejection dueling inside me.

It takes all of three seconds before Sterling’s long strides catch him up to me by the door. His grip around my wrist stops me. “Wait.”

I turn and face him. I’m halfway between wanting to flee and staying to hear his explanation.

He releases a heavy exhale. “I received a phone call just before you arrived.”

With him so near, the combination of his clean soap and his spicy cologne intoxicates me. Memories of our intimate dinner rush back. But apparently tonight is not meant to be a repeat. Waiting to see what he’ll say next, I inhale and hold my breath.

When he doesn’t continue, I ask, “Is everything okay?”

(Synopsis) I’ve ruined everything.

I’ve broken the cardinal rule and fallen in love with my fake wife, and then I went and did the worst thing a husband can do.

Winning her back will be nearly impossible, but I’ve never backed down from a challenge before and I’m sure as hell not about to start now. Olivia will be mine, and I can’t wait to put a bun in her oven.

You won’t want to miss the final installment in Noah and Olivia’s love story, and especially the way this over-the-top alpha male wins over his bride once and for all.

This is the third and final volume in the story.

After the cliffhanger in Hitched: Volume 2, I was more than anxious to find out how Noah and Olivia could overcome the latest HUGE hurdle in their quest to have it all. I was hopeful that, after all the miscommunication and complete lack of communication, they learned that talking instead of subterfuge and manipulation is always better.

As always, Noah was awesome. Despite his serious screw up, Noah is prepared to do whatever he has to do to make up for it. His life with Olivia is worth any amount of groveling that he needs to do. Above all, Noah knows that in order for him to make inroads with Olivia, he has to find common ground with her, and that is their business. They work so well together when they're not agonizing over their current relationship status.

In Hitched: Volume 3, it was almost as if Olivia and Noah's relationship reset. They are both back to square one with learning how to trust one another and get along. It's actually not a bad thing since they both mucked it up so badly the first time around.

Thankfully, Olivia and Noah both take more care the second time around, with both one another and their company. But nothing is easy - nothing worth having, anyway.

Hitched: Volume 3 was a great completion to Noah and Olivia's story. It felt like a full circle. It was satisfying and sweet and sexy, and it was the perfect way to end what was a pretty epic tale.

(Synopsis) Arranged marriage? Check.

Cocky new husband? Check.

It's a marriage of convenience—one I’m determined to keep strictly professional. I can't be stupid enough to fall for this sexy playboy's charm or advances. I have to be strong, even if he is my husband.

Except he has a huge cock with an even bigger ego, and his main goal in life seems to be getting me to stroke both. The arrogant bastard is like sweet, sugary candy for my libido. I know he’s bad for me.

But I want to devour every wicked inch of him.

With his sexual prowess and experience, I know he’ll be explosive in the bedroom. And since we’re stuck together for the foreseeable future—keeping up this marriage charade long enough to turn the company profitable again—I deserve something to look forward to at the end of a long workday, right?

What could one little taste hurt?

Communication (kuh-myoo-ni-kay-shuh n): noun - the act or process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to express or exchange information or to express your ideas, thoughts, feelings, etc., to someone else

For the love of doughnuts, someone please highlight and bookmark this definition in every dictionary owned by Olivia and Noah's company, and not-so-subtly sneak it onto every surface they come into contact with. All day long. Every day for a week. Or two.

In Hitched: Volume 2, I alternated between being monumentally pissed off at Olivia first, and then Noah later. I get that they were put in a difficult situation by their fathers. As I mentioned in my review for Hitched: Volume 1, the fact that they would make ownership of their company and the jobs of thousands contingent upon two people who barely know each other getting married, and then conceiving a child (hello? what about infertility?) is absolutely abhorrent. But, that's neither here nor there in Volume 2.

But they're in this situation, so they should make the best of it. Right? Noah seems to have embraced that philosophy with abandon. He's happy to be married Olivia. He's not thrilled to be a dad so soon, but he's come to terms with it. Olivia, however, just can't bring herself to embrace her situation in any way. Despite the affection she clearly has for Noah, despite the attraction and the heat between them, and despite her status as his wife, she still keeps him at arm's length - literally and figuratively. She has reasons - both for why she initially bailed on him at the alter and for why she refuses to be his wife in every way - but, IMO, they are flimsy and weak.

I, personally, think she's scared she could get used to being Noah's wife. That she could easily love him. And, what if he doesn't feel the same way? But, does she tell him that? Does he tell her how he really feels? Nooooooooo....

In fact, even after Olivia gives a little on her position, Noah is still keeping something from her. Something HUGE. And there were so many times he could've told her, and it would've been okay. But, his reasons for not telling Olivia everything she needed to know were also flimsy and weak. And, of course, it comes back to bite him in the ass in a big way.

Hitched: Volume 2 was infuriating and frustrating. It was also sexy and had moments of extreme swooning. And a big cliffhanger ending. I can't wait for Volume 3 to see how Olivia and Noah will work out all their differences and pull their company out of trouble.

“What’s wrong?” I ask.

“Just a little tight, is all.”

I inhale through my nose. I have to shove the pregnancy stuff to the back corner of my brain. We’re a long way off from Olivia letting me pump her full of my semen anyhow, so why am I stressing about it now? The first step is showing her how compatible we can be.

And that starts now.

I smile at her. “Sit tight. I’ll be right back.”

I grab a bottle of massage oil from the hall closet and return to the living room. The soft jazz music seems to float in the air, creating a pleasant buzz in the atmosphere.

Olivia’s eyes widen when I rejoin her on the couch, but she doesn’t question me.

“I’ll give you a massage,” I suggest. “Take off your sweatshirt.”

Olivia flinches, chewing on her lip while she watches me. “But I’m not wearing anything underneath.”

That’s the idea. “I promise not to look.”

She hesitates for another second, then turns her back to me and pulls her shirt over her head, dropping it to the floor. The creamy canvas in front of me is one to be admired. The twin dimples in her lower back near the band of her leggings would make lesser men weep.

I warm a few drops of oil between my palms and rest my hands on her stiff shoulders.

“Relax. Okay?”

(Synopsis) Marry the girl I’ve had a crush on my whole life? Check.

Inherit a hundred-billion-dollar company? Check.

Produce an heir… Wait, what?

I have ninety days to knock up my brand-new fake wife. There’s only one problem—she hates my guts.

And in the fine print of the contract? The requirement that we produce an heir.

She can’t stand to be in the same room with me. Says she’ll never be in my bed.

But I’ve never backed down from a challenge and I’m not about to start now.

Mark my words—I’ll have her begging for me, and it won’t take ninety days.

On the heels of her smash hit and New York Times bestselling SCREWED series, Kendall Ryan brings you HITCHED, a romantic comedy that delivers heart and heat. A NYC playboy turned business mogul has ninety days to win over the woman he's always desired in order to save his father's company. One tiny problem: She hates his guts.

Volume 1 of Kendall Ryan's brand new Hitched sets the stage for what, I'm sure, is going to be a pretty epic romance between rigid Olivia and loosey goosey Noah.

It's clear that Olivia and Noah have this animosity-laden relationship, although I'm not really quite sure why. I guess Olivia takes issue with Noah's laid back life style (while she is definitely a Type A sort of person) and his manwhore ways. Noah has always had a thing for Olivia though, and now he has to woo her. Hard.

Because if they want to take over the company started by their fathers, they need to get married.

Despite his player status, Noah is on board with this plan. Not only does it give him the chance to reshape his father's company and save all the jobs for the people he's come to appreciate and respect, but it gives him direct and personal access to the woman who's been the object of his desire for years.

Olivia, while also wanting to run her father's company, is less than thrilled with this arranged marriage situation. Like every other girl, she's always had a vision for her wedding - a lavish affair with a white dress and a man who adores her and she him. This is not going according to her plan, but she's willing to deal with it for now in order to head the company and start the overhaul to make it successful.

I really felt for Olivia. Although it seemed like her hatred of Noah was misplaced, the thought of having to marry a man she does not love just so she can gain access to a company that should be hers by rights anyway, would certainly put me in a bad mood too. Knowing that this was set up by her father and Noah's father together just makes things even worse. I can't imagine my father doing that to me - forcing me to marry someone he hand picked for me - and calling it "for my own good."

Noah definitely has his work cut out for him. He's an extremely likable character, and I loved watching him work his magic on Olivia. Since Noah has to tread carefully and lightly in order to earn Olivia's trust and win her affection, volume 1 is light on actual sex, but pretty high up there with sexual tension. Olivia and Noah will be great together once she lightens up and realizes that Noah is actually everything she's ever wanted in a husband.

The baby part doesn't come in until the end, and it definitely throws a wrench into an already complicated and stressful situation. Which, of course, just makes for better reading for all of us.

As you could expect, since there are two volumes left to round out the story, volume 1 ends on a cliffhanger. It's the worst best kind too. I'll be on the edge of my seat until volume 2 comes out to see what happens next with Olivia and Noah.

"That’s the whole point of doing this trial period—to see how well we can play ball together before committing to a team-up. I’m doing my best to become friends with you, so . . .”

He tilts his head with a half smile. “Just friends? I’ve got my sights set a little higher.”

Gee, I never would have guessed, what with his constant attempts to steer the conversation toward sex.

I quirk one eyebrow in skepticism. “Friendship is all we need to pull this thing off. And we’re pretty much starting from square one . . . I would call us acquaintances, at best. Don’t you think you’re being a little overambitious?”

“Nope,” he replies, cocky smile still firmly in place.

I roll my eyes. “Wow. Your arrogance truly has no limits.”

“If I can put my money where my mouth is . . .” His lustful smirk makes it clear exactly where he’d like to put his mouth. “Then it’s not arrogance. Just confidence.”

“What makes you think I would want more with you, anyway? You aren’t exactly my type.”

I expect him to just give me a knowing look, or maybe toss back some mild innuendo. What I absolutely did not expect was, “Because I have a nine-inch cock.”

I almost choke on my martini for a third time. I splutter, “Is that number supposed to impress me?”

3"

I give him a skeptical look. “You want to show me your dick?”

“If it’ll help convince you.” He drains the last drops of his Scotch and stands up. “Come on, let’s go.”

I stare after him as he walks away.

Is he serious? He’s just going to whip it out? I look around to see if anyone is watching me, then I get up and follow him to the bar’s back hallway, near the restrooms, unable to comprehend why the hell I’m humoring him. This is ridiculous.

Once we’re safely in a private corner, Noah undoes his belt, opens his fly . . . and pulls out a fucking fire hose.

Holy mother of God. My hands fly to my mouth. I want to gasp in shock, but there’s no way I’m giving him the upper hand.

He was right. His cock is nothing short of massive, and it’s not even fully erect right now. Nine inches may actually be a conservative estimate of what it might look like hard. He must destroy men’s egos every time he walks into a locker room. And I don’t even want to think about what he destroys with women . . .

“Meh. I’ve seen bigger,” I force out, fighting to maintain my composure.

Noah chuckles. “I don’t think so, sweetheart.”

“Well, th-that monster is not coming anywhere near my uterus. No, thank you. I prefer to keep my organs intact.”

Noah’s grin widens. “I doubt that, but just to be on the safe side, I’ll ease it in nice and slow. Piece of cake. Plus, you’ve got good health insurance, right?”

“That is not funny, Noah. Now, put that thing away or I’ll remove it.”

I try to sound stern, but my shaking voice and bright red cheeks surely give me away. Why the hell can’t I stop staring?

He chuckles—yeah, the jerk can definitely see right through me—but he obliges, tucking the beast back into its lair.
