(Synopsis) I'd dated his brother.

He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.

I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.

Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.

Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.

When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

I've been a huge K.A. Linde fan ever since I was introduced to the Maxwell brothers in her Record series. She's back with a new set of siblings, and judging by the introduction we get to all of them in The Wright Brother, I can safely say that I'm going to be highly anticipating every single release.

I have to admit - I was a little nervous to read this book. If you go by the description, it seems like The Wright Brother is going to feature a big love triangle where our heroine spends 300 pages trying to choose between two brothers. I'm not a fan of love triangles at all. But, it's K.A. Linde. She gave us a pretty intense love triangle in her Record series, and I survived that one quite well. I trusted her to do the same here.

Thankfully, there is no love triangle, so if that is a hang-up of yours too, never fear. You can one-click The Wright Brother with peace of mind. It's true that our heroine, Emery, dated London Wright in high school. And now, 10 years later, she hooks up with Landon's older brother Jensen at their sister's wedding. But, in the past 10 years, both Emery and Landon have moved on, and in very different ways.

After having her heart broken, and not just by Landon, Emery has sworn off serious relationships. She's returned back to her hometown with her love life in tatters and agrees to accompany her BFF to Sutton Wright's wedding, despite her personal vow to never mingle with the Wright family ever again. Except, she does more than mingle with Jensen Wright.

Emery was such a fantastic character. I loved her immediately. She's a tomboy who owns that part of herself. She blows back into town with the idea that she's just going to cool her heels for a little while before deciding what to do next. And when she discovers this incredible connection with Jensen, she's willing to alter her plans to see what could happen with him. Of course, given her previous relationship with Landon and the fact that Landon's wife despises her, Emery wants to keep her relationship with Jensen a secret.

Meanwhile, Jensen has been thrown completely for a loop. He wasn't looking for anyone. Didn't want anyone beyond one night. He has secrets he'd rather keep. But, Emery changes all that. Watching Jensen go into protective mode to keep Emery safe from all the things out there that could hurt her - whether that's Landon's wife, Emery's most immediate ex or Jensen's own secrets - was the absolute best part of The Wright Brother. That rich, powerful man is as alpha as they come, but when he falls for Emery, everything changes.

I absolutely LOVED Emery's reaction to Jensen's secrets. They were completely believable and justifiable. She was hurt and pissed, but then got over it and stepped up to be the woman that Jensen needed. And that was what made me love her the most. She was perfect for him, and it was clear that she had definitely chosen the right brother in the end.

Judging by the clues that were thrown at us along the way, it's clear who will be featured in book two, The Wright Boss, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. The Wright Brother was a perfect start to this new series that is sure to become a new favorite of mine.
