Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This is one meme I can get on board with - I LOVE lists! I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

Top Ten All-Time Favorite Books In The New Adult Genre

1. Twisted Perfection (Rosemary Beach #3), by Abbi Glines - Woods is my absolute favorite Glines boy. He's rich, confident, smooth, and yet in the presence of Della, he turns into someone completely different.

2. Slammed (Slammed #1), by Colleen Hoover - Usually I go for the bad boys, but Will Cooper is about the furthest thing from bad. Despite that, Slammed had me hooked from the very beginning, but it was the very end that turned me into mush.

3. Easy (Contours of the Heart #1), Tammara Webber - Lucas and Jacqueline made such an amazing couple. The help that they gave each other in overcoming their demons was inspiring.

4. Losing It (Losing It #1), by Cora Carmack - Garrick. Taylor. 'Nuff said.

5. Taut, by J.A. Huss - Ford is so deliciously complicated and abrasive. He cared for only a few people... until Ashleigh very unexpectedly changed everything.

6. Walking Disaster (Beautiful Disaster #2), by Jamie McGuire - Beautiful Disaster was the first NA book I ever read. I preferred the story from Travis' POV, though. His mind is a beautiful place to be.

7.  Off Limits (Off Series #2), by Sawyer Bennett - Nix was a veteran with some serious PTSD and Emily was a temporary balm to his wounds. Until she got a little too close. Turns out, that was just what he needed.

8. Faking It (Losing It #2), by Cora Carmack - Max was the bad girl who needed Cade to tame her. Cade was the quiet guy nursing his wounds who needed Max to remind him how to live again.

9. If You Leave (Beautifully Broken #2), by Courtney Cole - Courtney Cole doesn't shy away from the gritty topics. This was another book that dealt with post-war PTSD, and the Gabe that came out on the other side was nothing short of amazing.

10. One Tiny Lie (Ten Tiny Breaths #2), by K.A. Tucker - Set on a college campus, Liv and Ashton needed each other to start really living again.

Nice picks! All new to me! I want to read Paranormal New Adult, but there's so few of that out there. Although some of the Urban Fantasies I read are pretty much that when the heroine is in that age range. Oh well!

Here's my Tuesday post

Have a GREAT day!

I looooooved Slammed & Faking It! Will and Cade are so sweet and adorable <3
I may have to actually read Taut now. I wasn't going to read it since I never liked Ford in the Rook & Ronin series, but I am curious about it.
I need to start the Ten Tiny Breaths series. Everyone seems to love it so I definitely need to start that one.
Great list :D

Great list! I definitely went back and forth between Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. I loved them both. I still need to read Taut and Sawyer Bennett's series.

There's some great NA out there and I'm glad to see so many people focusing on it today. :)

I love your list, and I'm going to read Ten Tiny Breaths soon. I've heard so many great things about it. Also, Cora Carmack... a goddess among NA Writers. I love so many of the books on your list, they just didn't quite make mine. Hehe!

Thanks for stopping by Better Read Than Dead

I literally just read and reviewed Easy, which I hope to post in a couple of days, and I absolutely loved it! I didn't think I would, but I fell head over heels for that book and Lucas. Slammed was another one that I absolutely loved. Quite a few of the others are on my TBR list and I can't wait to get to them. Nice picks and thanks for checking out my list :)

Easy is one of my all time favorites, such a beautiful story! It was actually the first New Adult book that I read! I also loved Slammed, but strangely I enjoyed Point of Retreat better (normally I like the first book more)! Losing It was also great and I loved Faking It as well! I haven't read Walking Disaster yet, but I LOVED Beautiful Disaster so I really need to read this soon... plus I'm really curious to read the Wedding book as well! Great list, I have to try out the others I haven't read! One Tiny Lie is on my TBR already - I just need to read the first one :P

I love One Tiny Lie! I haven't read any of the other books on your list yet, but that really will have to be rectified soon, because their books seem right up my alley. Thanks for checking out my list this week!
