Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This is one meme I can get on board with - I LOVE lists! I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

Top Ten Sequels I'm DYING To Read

1. The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines #4), by Richelle Mead - The wait is almost over! The Fiery Heart is coming out in two short weeks, and I cannot wait to see how Sydney and Adrian are doing and what mess they will get themselves into this time. Each book gets us closer to their HEA, and no one deserves one more than them.

2. Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky #3), by Veronica Rossi - I fell in love with Perry, Aria and Roar from word one, and now their stories are coming to a close. I love Perry so much - I'm so excited to see them all reach the Still Blue (because, let's face it - you KNOW they will).

3. Up From the Grave (Night Huntress #7), by Jeaniene Frost - January will bring the bittersweet arrival of the final Night Huntress book. No more Cat and Bones. While that makes me sadder than it probably should, I just know the send-off is going to be epic.

4. Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3), by Tahereh Mafi - I struggled with whether to put this book on my list. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. Really - I am. But, truth be told, I'm nervous as hell. There seems to be tons of Warner love out there, and I'm afraid that means that Juliette won't end up with Adam, which is really the only ending I'll be happy with. In any case, any book that gives me this amount of angst deserves to be on this list.

5. The King (Black Dagger Brotherhood #12), by J.R. Ward - I've been waiting for the story to turn back to the original Brothers for awhile now. How appropriate that the stories start over with the King. Wrath and Beth have been leading up to this moment for a few books now. I can't wait to see how it turns out for them.

6. The Forever Song (Blood of Eden #3), by Julie Kagawa - The end of The Eternity Cure left me reeling, and I've been dying for a resolution for nearly a year now. I will finally get it, one way or another. I've read the first chapter, and I have to say - I think the best part will be Sarren finally biting it in the end. Pardon the pun.

7. Take a Chance (Rosemary Beach #6), by Abbi Glines - There's always been something about Grant. We were granted a peek at what his story will be like in Forever Too Far and Simple Perfection. I'm ready for him to find the love of his life and get away from that awful Nan. He deserves the same fate as his BFFs Rush and Woods.

8. The One (The Selection #3), by Kiera Cass - This series has caused me so much damn angst! America is one of those chicks I just want to smack around a little until she sees the bigger picture. Namely, that Aspen is not the right guy for her and she does have all the skills she needs to rule a country. Anything less than this in the series finale will sorely disappoint me. But, the ride will be fun, I'm sure.

9. Sweet Reckoning (Sweet Trilogy #3), by Wendy Higgins - Kaiden and Anna have worked so hard to get where they are. They only have a little further to go before they can truly be happy. The road won't be easy, and the final battle is sure to be amazing. But, I'm hoping that Wendy wants these two to have their HEA as much as I do. And I can't wait to see it.

10. Night Broken (Mercy Thompson #8), by Patricia Briggs - Have you read that description? Seen that awesome cover? I love the new role Mercy has taken on since marrying Adam. I love how strong she has remained. So, I can't wait to see her put the smack-down on Adam's awful ex.

  14. Yes, that ending to The Eternity Cure was torture. I can't wait to find out what will happen! Can't believe there are only two weeks until Fiery Heart. I was lucky and got the first place in the library queue for it.

  17. Uggh I hate Sydney but I love Adrian so that's the only reason I read (more like skim) the Bloodline series. Everyone has The One on their Top Ten. The pretty cover makes me want to read it!
